Darlene A. Caswell, 62, a lifelong Newberry resident, died unexpectedly at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette on Wednesday, February 29, 2012.

Born in Newberry on July 12, 1949 she was a daughter of Jonas J. and Helen J. (Calkins) Moses. Darlene was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

According to her wishes, cremation services have been accorded. The family will hold a private inurnment in the spring.

Beaulieu Funeral Home in Newberry is assisting the family with their arrangements.
